Abstract
Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly is the primary international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal solely dedicated to the advancement of original empirical research relating to physical activity for and among people with disabilities. APAQ is also the official journal of the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity. With a mission to publish the latest scholarly inquiry related to physical activity for individuals with disabilities, and to encourage a diversity of topics and approaches to answer adapted physical activity-related questions, APAQ is the home of many seminal works in the field. This session will include a panel discussion with the current APAQ editor and associate editors. In this discussion, panelists will discuss and answer questions related to (a) the current position and status of the journal, (b) tips for reviewing for and publishing research in APAQ, and (c) values of the journal moving into the future. The panelists welcome an open discussion with the greater IFAPA membership.
